Ahem, We Have Just Had A Report Someone Has Broke Into Your Blog

I have been skulking around since mid last week after receiving the news that my wee SEO blog had been hacked. Its difficult to explain the feeling, the best I can pit it against was when the sister-in-law had her house burgled – how she cringed at the thought of an unknown someone traipsing through her stuff. Perhaps some may feel that’s quite a strong similarity to assign a blog hack against – to tell the truth that’s just the tip of my anger – this place is my baby, my business, my livelihood.

Glasgow Spammer Beware!

Over the last week I have been the victim of a rather unhelpful individual / company submitting my site to various FFA sites. Now I’m not too sure about the effect having my site included in these directories will have, if any. But its more the annoyance factor that is bothering me.

Hoots, Mon! Is This How Others See Us

As a Scot I’m proud of my country and I’m proud of my heritage. So, when I was on Sphinn today and saw this headline in the up-and-coming section it kinda grabs my attention:

My Blog Comments

I recently updated the blog with a new web design and installed permalinks but in the process the comments were wiped - so I apologise to those that have posted here. I will make it up to those that have posted though as their is space in the footer and I’ll use this to link back to the posters that contributed the most/best comments — which means a link back to your site on every page — now that’s link luv that is. :-)

SEO for the price of a Car Rental

I’ve had it getting the train into Glasgow. Forget about carbon-offsetting I have done my bit. 10 months commuting a daily grind of 4 trains in total — 3 hours out of my day stuck beside some unknown reading the daily broadsheet and violating my personal space and never mind the screaming inaudible noise from those with their heads plugged into their MP3 players. I physically baulk at the thought of sharing a train in the over-cramped conditions vying to breathe some fresh air from the hutch-like open windows. Rats get transported in better conditions.
