Top UK SEO Companies for November 2007

I didn’t think I was going to get here this month what with serious hosting problems (I know this is going to have a kick-back at some time) and my sheer impatience in waiting in phone queues (just over an hour to get answered and that was at the quiet time).

But hey, here they are… the latest stats on those UK companies that KNOW how to rank their site properly. Getting high positions in Google is one thing, knowing how to get your site listed highly across the major three engines is something else and that’s why these companies below deserve their special mention month after month.

Before I get to the results can I just add a big thanks to those that got in contact with myself while I was having these server problems. Much appreciated. :-)

We are on Fasthosts too, I think I got lucky and noticed the password change within the hour so managed to get onto our control panels plus I had previously changed most of the passwords when they first mentioned it.

I am seriously thinking about leaving them, but I have 400 domains in my control panel and thats gonna be one long day/week setting everything up with a new host. Im considering going to a dedicated host but if you look at people like ukfast there is a massive jump in price between shared and dedicated and most of my smaller/older clients moan when I bill them now, id have to tripple my hosting prices!

@Hobo - I know there are ways around it but I want my host in the UK, some clients use .coms .biz etc so want to make sure there are no issues with google.co.uk.

*cough* I should be top of national, higher alexa and D comes before V not that I am petty and competitive.

And how the hell do Just Searching have that
32,645 rank? The must have a lot of blog readers or maybe force all members staff/friends/family to install the alexa toolbar. Oh actually looking at their about us page they are a tiny bit larger than us.

@ Shaun, I am looking into switching will keep them in mind although I would prefer a UK Host.

@ White Hat, Same Here ;-)

@ James, I knew that would get you going, still the way your ranking it looks like it will be some battle for the #1 position for the New Year.

Thanks guys - nice list and we’re very proud to have made it to the #1 spot… but yes, it does look like the next one will be tight… ;-)

Paul - we use fasthosts for email but they do have a few issues with web hosting that you may want to look at (if you haven’t already). Email me if you get a chance.

Hi Matt, yep it looks like we have a good old fashioned dance-off between you and James (Dolphin Promotions) and also Hobo vs Internet Marketing and finally SEOCO vs Weblinx.

This is going to be a really great end to the years rankings.

Ah, James, I no longer see things as Black and White, just various shades of Grey. ;)

What are the target key phrases again? Just interested to see if we can have a little pop at the cherry as it were :) Seems like a good little comp this one and I might like to come back up to Scotland at some point.
