Sponsor The SEO League

As you know we at North South Media are no strangers to getting “The Begging Bowl” (cheers for that Shaun ;-)) out and hitting on the big boys of the corporate world for a share of their well earned dough. Well the opportunity has arisen once more and this time its the Top Ten SEO League that’s up for grabs.

We are aware that a lot of SEO Companies out there use the league to help boost their transparency to potential and existing clients and that the league itself is a pretty good judge of who can market their own sites extremely well.

So, with these thoughts in our tiny wee minds and the hard evidence that the SEO League generates a helluva lot of traffic, myself and James (the one that refuses to talk on the blog) have decided to put some North South Media real estate up for sponsorship. [Please note we do not want any affiliation with companies that are already or are in-the-future contenders for the the SEO League positions as we would deem this to be irresponsible advertising].

One of the things that makes North South Media different from the majority of Blogs out there is that we tend to put a skew on our stories to make them that bit different. We also understand that we are at our best when we report on the grass-root stuff like helping buddies out when their is an obvious miscarriage of justice, being honest in our reviews of new websites, magazines and software. This type of reporting may not win us the fans such as Andy, Rand, Shaun or Aaron to name drop a few of the big hitters but we’re doing it our way.

I’ve been asked by several clients ” Why North South Media?” and also “Is it a take on Big Mouth Media?”. We’ll the answer to the latter is No! Wish we had their money. We grew up in different divides - James being a Catholic Celtic supporter and myself being the Protestant Rangers fan. As our religion suggests “we were poles apart”. Our friendship crossed that divide and we entered into an amicable business relationship and thus was borne “North South Media” to remind ourselves of how such backward views in our wee country can be overcome and that divide can be bridged.

Talking of bridges that is what we plan with the Sponsorship of the Top Ten SEO League to help expand into new territories. The marketing potential of this could be huge.

As an aside we have some potential cracking posts coming-up that we have talked about for awhile now and are only beginning to bear some fruit. There may be one or two of you out there receiving an email from ourselves very shortly [nothing to do with sponsorship but we would just like a wee chat if you know what I’m getting at]. Enough about that for the minute though. Do you know a CEO who would sponsor the league? If you do then send him my way by clicking on these contact details.

You’ll understand if I sit this one out :)

It’s a great bit of fun Paul, and a well managed bit of link-bait. No wonder this blog is starting to feature. Keep it up.

No worries Shaun - I wasn’t intending to hit on any of the companies that are featured in the league anyway, that would be a bit unethical in my opinion.

I am looking for a company outside the scope. Someone who can help not only propel their online presence with this affiliation but also the companies involved can breach new markets.

I know you have your hands full anyways i just hope you have enough space for them beers that I owe you. :-)
